Cinnamon has been used as a flavoring agent and medicinal for centuries, especially in Asia. The presence of coumarin, however, can be problematic in high doses or in certain individuals with a history of liver disease.
Cinnamomum cassia, otherwise known as Chinese cinnamon, contains less volatile oil and therefore less coumarin than other varieties, but has a sweeter flavor.

Cinnamomum cassia is harvested from the dried bark of an evergreen tree that is native to China that is now cultivated in Thailand, India and Vietnam. Also known as Chinese cinnamon, this is the variety most commonly found in US supermarkets. Because the bark is thicker and has a slightly more bitter taste than other varieties, is also sometimes referred to as bastard cinnamon.
Consult your health care professional before use.

I care about my family, yes I said family. I don't see customers, I see new friends and family. If you don't have funds to buy, that's ok come hang with us and soak up some good energy! I strive to find all natural and organic herbs, teas and oils. Listen to my people and find what they are looking for if it is not already in the store. Keep up with vendor sites and pre-order new releases of books and decks to make sure you get to see the newest items as fast as possible.
Absolutely amazing energy! This store has everything I needed to get started on my spiritual journey. The owner Heather and the boy she had helping her were truly kind and helpful during my visit. The best part was the extensive collection of books and tarot decks she had in the library area. If you are into this kind of thing you have just got to visit.

As I was on my journey for my own spiritual enlightenment I discovered there were very few places to help me. I wanted to make the journey for others to travel easier and Mystical Moon was born. It has grown from a small traveling vendor show setup to what are we today.
